Emerging Graphics installs more than 20 EngView CAD packaging software

Developed in Bulgaria, the software is said to be powered by an award-winning parametric design technology and uses smart drafting and realistic 3D virtual modelling.

“The response and appreciation for the EngView have been constantly growing in a matter of few years we have been able to reach more than 20 packaging companies in India,” said Tushar S Pande, managing partner of Emerging Graphics.

“The software is suitable for packaging converters and die-makers for the creation of single and multi-up folding cartons layouts in 2D and 3D apart from the availability of the required layout tools,” he added.

The EngView Library is said to have more than 1,500 parametric packaging designs for folding carton and corrugated board, as well as complex resizable structures for the rigid board. It also has other features like drafting module, a display library, 3D presenter and layout optimiser.

“Apart from EngView, our solution offerings include IECHO cutting systems for packaging and signage industry, Amsky CTP platesetter for flexo printing and PGI cylinders for narrow web flexo printing,” said Pande.

Established in 2013, the company, which is part of the Middle East-based SPMS group, has also managed to make inroads with the IECHO cutting systems with three installations so far.
