DIC India and PrintWeek webinar on sustainable packaging

Speaking about the webinar and the topic at hand, a DIC representative said, “We have seen some substantial developments around sustainable packaging in the last few years, based on the 3R policy: reduce, reuse, recycle (and additionally re-consume and re-circulate). The webinar is expected to address the key challenges involved in achieving the coveted circular economy such as single-use plastics. 

Amit Shah, joint president and chief marketing officer (Flexible Packaging Business) Uflex; Amit Banga, managing director, SB Packagings; and Andrew Brown, regional business manager- Printing Ink DIC Asia Pacific, a brand manager as well as a carton converter will form the panel of speakers. They will address the various infrastructure aid that is needed, how can sustainable packaging practices become part of the norm and the pertinent question of how and when can India become a 100% eco-friendly country.

The webinar will see participation from entities across the value chain with brand managers, packaging converters and manufacturers sharing their viewpoints. The event will also include a panel discussion moderated by Noel D’Cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek.
