“It’s a good opening for us. We are expecting to book at least six machines during the exhibition,” Jatinder Julka of Alliance Printech said, adding, “The Newflex V370 has evolved from its present range of Novaflex-XS flexo label presses. It is a 370-mm press, powered by an ELS driveline, chilled UV and featuring die-cutting and matrix rewinding units, among others.”

While Julka did not want to divulge the details of the deals as yet, he said one of the machines will go to an African country and the other to a print firm in north India.

According to Julka, both printing presses are of 370 mm width, fully servo-driven with all stations UV.

He added that the African customer will use the machine for shrink sleeves and in-mould labels. The Indian customer will use the machine to print pressure-sensitive and all filmic labels.

Alliance claims to have around 20 installations of narrow-web flexo printing presses and more than 200 installations of its entire range of products. The company exports its products to countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Ghana and Ethiopia.
