Wan-Ifra to host three-day Digital Media conference

The seventh edition of the event will be from 7 to 9 February 2018 at Courtyard by Marriott in Mumbai. The event aims at increasing in the revenue from the digital market and also maintaining the engagement with the readers.


Sessions to be held on 8 February are leveraging data and machine learning, digital publishing in local languages, engaging millennial in the digital landscape and on 9 February are video content and social media channels, Panel discussion, Digital advertising ideas and concluding the event on the topic the digital future.

Wan-Ifra will be hosting two pre-conference workshops. One is on the topic ‘Big data for journalists’ by David Higgerson, digital publishing director, Trinity Mirror (Regionals), UK and the second workshop is on ‘Paid content business models’ by Steffen Damborg, expert advisor, Wan-Ifra global advisory.

Some of the renowned speakers for the event are Steffan Damborg Wan-Ifra associate consultant, Germany; Trushar Barot, BBC News, India; Sathya Sriram, head of the strategy, The Hindu Group; Siddharth Varadarajan, founding editor, The Wire and many more.
