Vasant Jante, founder and managing director, In-Store Asia, said, “In-Store Asia now joins the family of EuroShop, a leader in this domain for the last five decades.”
According to Jante, this was the best option for In-Store Asia to broaden the horizon for the growing in-store clientele to enable new global opportunities in trade, partnerships, technologies and reaching new markets. “The timing is also perfect, considering the healthy growth rate of the Indian retail market which has made it a top location for international investments from global brands and retailers,” he added.
Hans Werner Reinhard, managing director, Messe Düsseldorf, said, “We met Jante during a EuroShop presentation in India in 2013. Later in 2015, we experienced In-Store Asia live for the first time and we were really impressed with the fair. More than 5,000 decision-makers from the industry, retail, architecture and banking sectors visited the tradeshow and its offerings range from retail design, lighting, digital signage to POP displays and visual merchandising, as well as retail technology.”
Messe Düsseldorf has confirmed a long-term co-operation deal with In-Store Asia organisers Thought Shows & Events and both the companies have jointly founded a new firm, Excosa. The deal was signed by both the companies on 23 November 2016 in New Delhi.
Under the brand name Excosa, all the retail design and In-Store marketing domain related events will be conducted and from February 2018, In-Store Asia will be held annually in New Delhi and Mumbai.
In-Store Asia is the largest retail fair for retail design and in-store marketing in India.
