Zircon strengthens its quality control with Rotoflex VLI buy

Zircon Technologies, the Noida-based label printing firm has invested in two new Rotoflex VLI systems with a 100% fault detection kit to strengthen its quality control after label printing.

The new Rotoflex VLI 440 has been supplied by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), the distributor for Rotoflex in India.

Sanjeev Sondhi, director operations at Zircon Technologies, said, “Rotoflex VLI is a premier inspection, slitting and rewind system with expanded capabilities for more advanced applications and high-speed production.”

Sondhi added, “The finishing department has a major role to play when it comes to provide quality output. We are into printing of high end premium quality labels which means the quality check has to be of high standards. This is where Rotoflex come into picture.”

The new Rotoflex VLI 440 comes with 438 mm web width and is armed with a genesis controller-level 2 and ultrasonic edge guide sensor which is recommended for transparent webs.

Sondhi said, “We are always striving to make our quality better and with the new Rotoflex equipments and we are sure to gain an extra competitive edge. VLI 440 is an advanced version as compared to VLI 330. With such an advanced inspection system, Zircon will be able to keep pace in their production output as the Rotoflex VLI provides a new benchmark in performance through increased operation speeds, critical speed control, stopping/starting ability and ultra smooth operation.”

Zircon's range of products include brand packaging labels, data-capturing through barcodes and RFID, and protecting documents and brands with anti-counterfeiting products.

Zircon has their presence across India with printing plants located in Noida, Dehradun and Chennai.
