Yogesh installs Heidelberg CD 74 press to boost production capacity

Jalandhar-based Yogesh Printing Press invests in Heidelberg CD 74 five-colour plus coater refurbished sheetfed offset press at its plant to cater to the increasing demand of print quantity.

Sham Lal Handa managing director at Yogesh Printing Press, said, “The press will certainly double printing capacity. Till now we were operating on single- and two-colour, the new five-colour with coater press will enable us to cater to FMCG and MNC companies with special effects in a single pass.”

With a turnover of Rs seven-crore, Yogesh Printing Press has also invested in Bobst Ambition folder-gluer and Kodak CTP platesetter and plans to further strengthen its post-press by investing in die-cutting, perfect binding and saddle stitching machine.

Handa said, “But after seeing the current scenario in Jalandhar, we are witnessing lot of book work job being done. To cater to this we would like to further strengthen our post-press section.”

Established in 1967, Yogesh Printing press has 8,000 sq/mtr plant which caters to print products like sticker label printing, cartons and label printing, corrugated box printing, offset box printing, flexo box printing, sticker label printing for reels, sticker label printing for bobbins, duplex board cartons printing, multi-colour cartons, embossed cartons, UV coated cartons and duplex board cartoons for packaging industry. It employs 175 staff.
