The printer, aL Printing, will showcase an inmold label printed for a two-litre plastic container, along with the container, specially created for Interpack.  According to aL, the investment in Xeikon 3500 has enabled it to produce short and medium runs of inmold labels with virtually no size restriction; from a 50 litre container down to a margarine cup, fitting its tagline – image no limits. This, the firm said, helps them get an edge over the other label printers in Europe.

The Xeikon 3500 digital label press with Xeikon’s low-temperature ICE toner technology, is designed for printing on heat-sensitive substrates such as polyethylene and thermal labels. The 516mm-wide digital web press can deliver short runs.

aL Printing invested in the Xeikon 3500 in 2013 for producing self-adhesive labels and inmold labels.

aL Printing-Xeikon will be present at Hall 09 / H24 at Interpack.

In India, FIG distributes Xeikon 3050 and 3500 labels presses.
