XCP: Protecting Indian presses

XCP (Xtra Corrosion Protection), the Press Protection product specialist has entered the Indian market.

The products offered by XCP are developed with OEM's (Original Equipment Manufacturer), employing printing industry standards and test methods deployed in a modern day printing press. XCP Press Protection products are specifically developed for the printing industry.
 
Speaking with PrintWeek India, Kuruvilla Abraham of 3N Vision - the market development partner for XCP product range for the sub-continent, introduced XCP as a supplier of best quality products for "Cradle to Grave Protection".
 
"The products offered by XCP are developed after a complete research of printing industry standards and test methods. It is specifically developed for the printing industry. These are endorsed and promoted by leading German manufacturers like Manroland for both web and sheetfed machines; and extensively used by Heidelberg engineers," emphasised Abraham.
 
Scott Sutherland, managing director of XCP briefed the company's product portfolio with its vast application. The category has a full range of products in its palette for the printers. While XCP Press Guard and XCP Press Guard Plus are printing cylinder protection solutions, XCP Bearer Ring Oil is a lubricant, for smooth running of bearer contact points without friction, wear and corrosion.
 
A third in the product series, XCP One, is a spray designed to penetrate as well as clean and protect against corrosion. It is claimed to be ideal for cleaning the plate clamping devices of web presses.
 
Another lubricant in the range, XCP Lubricate and Protect, is a blend of mineral and bio-based ingredients. Its applications include high pressure and motion - protecting against friction, wear and corrosion. XCP Rust Blocker, a rust prevention fluid in the product list also protects against
galvanic corrosion.
