Amar B Chhajed, managing director, Webtech Labels, said, “It made lot of sense in investing in CDI Spark 4835, as we have a full suite of Esko software. Besides, the Esko technology complements the Dupont technology.”

The CDI Spark 4835 images digital flexo plates up to 48 inch x 35 inch or 1200 mm x 900 mm size. This digital flexo imaging device addresses the small and medium volume label and folding carton flexo plate makers and converters.

Chhajed said, “We did not look at any other option because we knew the Esko technology is right for us and our decision in investing in it proved right. The system is reliable and has boosted pre-press productivity in last three months. The quality of plate produced has improved drastically.”

Webtech Labels is in the final stage of procuring a HD Flexo certification from Esko.

Chhajed said, “HD Flexo by Esko combines 4000 dpi HD optics to achieve sharper and more accurate imaging. The result is excellent print quality and a simplified plate production because the high-resolution optics delivers sharper imaging of text and lines and more clearly defined, better shaped screen dots. We are in the final stage of HD Flexo certification from Esko and by the month end we will be certified.”
