Visual Displays is a partnership firm run by partners Deepak Girotra and Vijay Chandana. The firm’s present business, according to the partners, is already flourishing and is expecting the Commonwealth Games will add to their work load.

"India will be hosting the first green Commonwealth Games and we are ensuring that we do not miss out on print contracts stemming from the games," said Girotra.

He added: "We opted for HP as it has a brand value within the signage industry. Moreover, Latex is the future technology as it is totally green."

The unit was started six years ago with a solvent machine. Ever since then they have added one machine every year to the unit.

The firm specialises in satin printing, outdoor and indoor media and caters to a range of segments from event marketing to movies business and regular retail. "With the installation of LX800, we have now become a certified 3M converter," added Girotra.

The new HP Latex LX800 will run alongside one roll-to-roll transfer machine, a HP 5100, a HP 9000, a Mutoh Ospray SPT Spectra and a ValueJet from Mutoh, which works on the dye sublimation technology.

Visual Displays has employee strength of 50 and is spread over an area of 8000 sqft.
