Nilesh Parwani, managing director, Vistaprint India, said, “We understand that India is an extremely cost conscious market. And so, with our technology backbone and experience in many other markets around the world, Vistaprint is at the forefront of driving a change in the way small businesses and consumers will order printed products and services in India.”

The Paris-based company with revenues of more than one-billion$ entered India in 2011 by taking over Printbell, a company founded by Parwani in 2007.

Vistaprint’s proprietary technologies and a disruptive business model uses the internet as an enabling tool, and can cater to small business owners, entrepreneurs and consumers for low volume printing at competitive pricing.

The firm which is head-quartered in Mumbai has a business model where it offers free custom design services through the front-end website and delivers a customised product to clients.

Vistaprint’s product portfolio encompasses various stationery and other customised promotional items, apparel line with custom embroidered polo T-shirts and caps.

Vistaprint has invested in a printing facility in Bhiwandi near Mumbai which is spread over 50,000 sq/ft.
