According to Ramesh Jain, Rajlaxmi’s managing director, the AccurioPress will help the initiative to streamline its short-run works. “We are excited. We were waiting for this launch and had committed to this device even before its launch.”

The company offers printed catalogues that form part of the textile business to its existing clients.

“There are some jobs which can be printed on the RMGT but it is not a viable option. We were looking for a digital option. Then the AccurioPress came along, and we found the kit to be the most suitable one for us.”

The AccurioPress 6100 replaces Konica Minolta’s Bizhub Pro C1100. The improvement over the previous model includes an increased maximum substrate weight from 350 to 400gsm with the ability to print at a maximum speed of 100ppm, and a wider range of substrates. The banner printing can be done on substrate thickness of 300gsm.

Rajlaxmi’s AccurioPress 6100 will be controlled by EFI’s Fiery with the ColorProfiler Suite, which Jain said, will give its print the required colour consistency.

“Integrating the offset and digital operations became essential, and the TechNova team made the connection seamless,” said Jain.
