Deshabhimani, one of the biggest newspapers in Kerala uses an Epson 9900 to produce plates for its daily production. This inkjet system is capable of outputting 10 plates per hour at 720 dpi. Deshabhimani has six locations in Kerala. The Deshabhimani at Trivandrum unit uses PosiJet film, while units at Kottayam, Mallapuram, Kannur, Calicut and Trichur use MetiJet. The Kannur unit uses thermal CTP plates too.

Apart from Deshabhimani, the other TechNova users are Kerala Kaumudi in Kollam, Madhyamam, Thejus and Siraj Daily in Calicut, who use PosiJet films.
