Swifts was founded by Shri Appasaheb Marathe, in 1955. With over 10,000 installations and five decades of expertise in manufacturing mini offset printing machines, the company is a key player in this market segment. The company bagged the National Award for Import Substitution in 1978 for substituting the imported mini offset technology with its ‘Made in India’ product.

During the PrintPack 2015 exhibition, the company introduced an offset printing machine for carry-bag printing. It also diversified into digital printing with the launch of two variable data printing machines: VDP Max and VDP Compact.

On 12 April, Swifts will announce the launch of smallest machine in its VDP series, VDP Mini. Om Marathe, incharge of business development at Swifts, said, “The Swifts VDP is a combination press with piezoelectric inkjet head plus a bulking system and our traditional offset technology.”

The event will be attended by over 150 delegates including Swifts dealer network and key customers.
