Surya Offset installs Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C1060

According to Kashyap Purohit, a director at Surya Offset, the company has acquired a business for delivering special features travel document and the C1060 fits the bill. “In terms of task that has been assigned to the machine, the challenges in terms of media types, special texture media, duplex printing, it has delivered,” said Purohit.

The new C1060 replaces two Xerox kit, the 2060 and 700 series, and Purohit added, “It takes the load of the two machines.”

The C1060 comes with a host of features suitable for commercial printers, which includes a vacuum feed option, a new image registration system, a wider colour gamut and KM’s IC 601 controller.

“In a competitive capital intensive market, this low investment kit provides quality similar to high-end digital presses. And for the type of work we are undertaking, the speed of 60ppm is just perfect,” said Purohit.

Surya Offset is managed by Purohit and his father, Mudresh, a veteran in the industry and present the president of Ahmedabad Master Printers Association.

Surya has three printing plants operating, one at Amli (Bhopalgaon), which was started in 1987, one atChangodhar which was set up in 2006, and the recently acquired plant in Sanand.
