Sri Omkara invests in a new web kit and site
Bengaluru-based Sri Omkara Printers has installed an Orient Super web-offset machine at their new premise in Dasarahalli, Bengaluru.

This machine had taken over 15 days for installation and assembly, and went live on July 1 with a new batch of fresh prints.
The brand new Orient Super web-offset bought at a price of Rs 75 lakh from dealers in Delhi will hopefully boost business to a large extent, said Rahul Mallikarjuna, partner of the Omkara Printers.
"From our annual turnover of Rs 1.8 cr, we are now looking at Rs 10 cr per annum," he said, indicating that the machine would be responsible for generating close to five times their current turnover.
As of now, Sri Omkara Printers takes up limited commercial work, their area of expertise being local newspapers – both English and Kannada dailies and eveningers. Much of their work includes printing religious books and calendars. "We also do a lot of in-house publishing work," said Mallikarjuna.
But with their new web offset machine, they hope to take up many more printing jobs, including work from schools and colleges.
