25 awards across Screen Printing, Textile Printing, Digital Printing and Sublimation Printing will be announced on the first day of the show, 6 May, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.

The entries are furthermore categorised under three groups - one, True Process Colour  - screen printing using three to eight screens using transparent colours, with at least three of them CMYK; two, Single/Multicolor - screen printing solid spot colours and simple halftone tints; and Digital - products decorated using one of several non-impact imaging technologies.

The deadline for sending in entries is 6 April.

On the other hand, leaders in the screen segment, like Skyscreen India, Grafica Flextronica, and EPTAInks, among others have extended their support to the show, while also promising to showcase newer technologies.

Grafica will launch three new machines at the show, concurring with the celebrations of 10 years of the DMI institute. Skyscreen will showcase the product range of GroupeSTAHL, the leading US-based international manufacturer, distributor and direct supplier in the field of custom textile printing, headquartered in Michigan. According to Anil Brahmbhatt, the product range provides a competitive edge to garment manufacturers and decorators of all sizes. Innovative ink and adhesive technologies include digital, water base inks and eco-friendly printing practices.
