Enpee Printers, the newly formed sister company of National Printing Press is looking for a hike in productivity after its investment in a four-colour Heidelberg SM 74 and CTP system.

SM 74 boosts Enpee's productivity by 30%
The twenty year old National Print Press has an annual turnover of Rs 3.5 crore, while Enpee Printers has notched up Rs 8 lakh in two months. Proprietor Johney John said they have 60 customers who seek specialisation in commercial and package-printing.
With the investments, Enpee shall tap quality jobs. "There is a lot of competition in the non-premium segment of the industry," he said.
Owing to the erratic power supply in Bengaluru, John said business has been affected by 75%. There has been a 50% increase in cost due to hike in paper prices.
The operator-friendly SM 74 is housed in a 3,200 sq ft unit - and has enhanced productivity by 30%. Also, Enpee has invested in cutting and post-press kit.
