Shenso tastes success with dry lamination machine

Shenso Graphic Solutions, a joint venture between Daya and Sodhisons Mechanical Works announced the successful sale and installation of dry lamination machine from KDX, manufactured under Italian Technical Collaboration.

Speaking about the product, Sonal Sheth, the director of Daya Sheth Printograph said, “We are excited about the newly launched dry laminating machine which we believe would be a revolution. We have successfully sold four of them in India in the last six months. Globally 30 installations have taken place in the same period.”

The recent installation of KMM-1050D lamination machine has taken place in Ludhiana. The machine which runs at an average speed of 80-90 m/min is said to have a hot knife ‘European technology for MetPet films with accuracy of +/-1.5mm and will be showcased at the upcoming Pamex exhibition in Mumbai.

“December is going to be even better for us where we expect to complete installation of three more of these lamination machines covering all four corners of India and the response from the market has been very encouraging,” added Rakesh Sodhi, partner, Sodhisons.

The new association began a year ago at the PrintPack India 2017 exhibition in February. Apart from the KDX lamination machines, they also represent Rogler MIS software from Austria.

“We are working on a few more products to be added to our portfolio and you can expect some announcement about this in the future,” said Sodhi.
