Kobi Bar, CEO and co-founder, Scodix, said, “Ipex is a great platform for us to demonstrate the advantages made possible by the Scodix Ultra digital enhancement press. With visitors expected from all print production sectors, we will be able to show them how any item of print from business cards to luxury goods packaging can be transformed."

“We deliver a cost effective and efficient way for printers to expand their capabilities, add value and create new conversations. The highly visual tactile enhancements it makes possible are another way to engage end-user senses and make them interact with the final piece of print in a new way. This recognition helps support brand awareness, consumer assurance and shelf short for packaging.”

The Scodix Ultra digital enhancement press is capable of producing 1,250 sheets of 21.5x31.0 inches per hour, it is based on the company’s Scodix Sense technology, which includes: Scodix RSP technology to ensure pin-point enhancement positioning and registration; Scodix High Impact to touch and feel to make your print stand out; Scodix 99 GU to deliver the highest level of gloss units attainable for printed materials and Scodix variable density which allows for variable polymer thickness, all, in one single pass.

“These combined technologies enable the Scodix Ultra to deliver results that meet and exceed the critical production requirements of the most demanding commercial PSP’s or folding-carton packaging converters. The Scodix Ultra supports a wide array of applications including stationery, business cards, book covers, premium packaging, marketing and promotional tools, greeting cards, and photo albums,” Bar concluded.

Monotech Systems is the Indian representative of Scodix and has installed four machines in the country.
