Robatech showcases Speedstar Diamond

Kishore Butani Robatech India, said, "Speedstar is an intelligent head. The electronic devices integrated in the head permanently control and monitor the functions and signs of wear and tear are automatically adjusted.”

The application head was presented in India for the first time at PackPlus South 2012. The electromagnetically operated application head is claimed to apply up to 800 adhesive dots per second. It can be operated at temperatures up to 185 degrees celcius and viscosity up to 5,000 mPas.

Speedstar which was launched at Interpack 2011 won the coveted Red Dot award 2012 in the product design category.

Jijesh Bhaskaran, manager-tech services at Robatech India, said, “The Red Dot award winning products are displayed at the Red Dot design museum. Robatech’s Ergostar hand applicator had won the Red Dot award in 2011 as well.”
