Redlands Machinery notches multiple installations

Kerala-based Redlands Machinery, the manufacturer and distributor of a raft of print finishing equipment has notched two installations of Petratto Metro 78 folder-gluer and two Komfi Delta 76, an automatic thermal laminator.

Both the Petratto Metro folder-gluers have been installed in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. One machine is installed at Eswari Picture Mart and the other at Lovely Offset Printers. The Petratto Metro 78 folder-gluer is capable of producing 100 different types of folds, including the small pharmaceutical cartons.

The thermal laminator Komfi has been installed at Tamil Nadu-based Mentor Media Printing and Logistics and Satyam Scan Graphics and Process in Ahmedabad. The European-make laminator machine is capable of laminating at a speed of 35 m/min.

Redlands has more than 3,000 installations worldwide.

Recently, at the Print Expo 2017 show in Chennai, the company announced its ‘Make in India’ plans with the opening of its factory in Coimbatore in February.

The company has over 50 installations of Petratto in Dubai.
