Programming-based hydraulic cutting machine from Paperbind makes it debut

Paper Idea has announced the launch of its Paperbind hydraulic programmable cutting machines, the Pressure Cut series.

The four variants, Pressure Cut- 520D, 670D, 520EP and 670EP offer a cut size of 30 to 670mm with a thickness of 65 to 85mm.

New Delhi-based Paper Idea is a marketing consulting firm providing solutions in business consulting, photo, web-to-print and VDP.

According to Anuj A Mehta, CEO, Paper Idea, the Pressure Cut series is the first hydraulic programmable cutting machine designed for commercial and digital printers. "It’s ideal for small and medium-sized commercial printers, digital printers and small-format cutting requirements. It ensures accurate cutting performance with its hydraulic clamp and cut mechanism and the knife lock patents and the blade locking device improves the safety quotient of the machine."

The series is equipped with inbuilt high-speed infrared line, a double pre-press patent for mechanical pre-loading of paper and additional features like oblique paper-knife and patented swing cylinder, which Paperbind claims, facilitates minimum input power with maximum output.

Paper Idea has 18 machines under the Paperbind portfolio. "The Pressure Cut series will further strengthen the Paperbind brand," said Mehta.
