Friends Engineering has launched a paper bag making machine at its stall. According to the Amritsar-based manufacturer, this machine can produce 150 bags per minute using up to 150 gsm paper.

The paper bag maker is a 86 cm wide web fed machine. The stall has also put on display die-punching and die-cutting machines with hot foil stamping. Friends is one of the oldest Indian manufacturer of paper cutting machine, lamination machine, rotary half cutting, creasing and perforating machine and wire stitching machine.
Manjit Singh of Friends, said: "We produce around 25 machines per year, 90% of which are exported." At the show, Friends has signed an order for sale of one paper bag making machine. "A Jaipur-based customer has picked up the machines," said Singh.
The five-decade old company claims to have more than 10,000 installations worldwide.
