PrintPack 2017: Permanent structure to host all exhibitors

Nearly 150 exhibitors have confirmed participation for PrintPack 2017, the 13th edition of the exhibition, which the organiser claims to be the third largest show in the world after Drupa and Print China in terms of visitor traffic, will be held on 4-8 February 2017 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida.

Providing an update on its preparation so far, a press release states that ‘the Expo Centre has constructed six new pillar less exhibition halls with the height of 13 mtrs, fully equipped with ultra-modern facilities, for holding national and international events at a much higher scale. The load bearing capacity of the new halls is around 30 tons/per sq.mtr, which fully meets the requirements of the machinery exhibitions like PrintPack or Plast India.’

During its earlier exhibitions, hangars were been constructed for accommodating some of the participants/exhibitors due to shortage of covered space at the Expo Centre.

Some of the high profile exhibitors confirmed so far includes Provin Technos, APL Machinery, Pressline India, Falcon Vacuum Pumps & Systems, Memory Repro Systems, Sheth Printograph, Joy D-Zign Engineers, Prakash Offset Machinery, Insight Communication & Print Solution India, Malhotra Graphics, Line O Matic, Muller Martini, Sodhisons Mechanical Works, and Sona Commercial, among others.

In one of his earlier interaction with PrintWeek India, Prashant Vats, executive secretary, IPAMA said, “This time around at PrintPack 2017, we hope to host around 500 exhibitors with a projected figure for visitor footfall of 100,000 and generate USD 350 million worth of business.”

IPAMA are shortly expected to begin conduct of road shows to promote PrintPack 2017 across the country.
