PrintPack 2017: 15 industry leaders to share their expertise during NPES Print Business Outlook Conference 2017

NPES, the Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, based in the US, in association with IPAMA and ICC, is organising a daylong conference in the sidelines of PrintPack India 2017 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida on 5 February. The NPES Print Business Outlook Conference 2017 is supported by PRIMIR and AIFMP.

A trade association of over 600 companies, NPES represents manufacturers, importers and distributors of equipment, supplies, systems and software used in every printing, publishing and converting process from design to distribution.

The NPES Print Business Outlook Conference 2017 will begin with Thayer Long, president, NPES, speaking on ‘Worldwide market for print 2.0 – global opportunities in packaging’, featuring market trends in India.

Steven Schnoll, managing director, Schnoll Media Consulting, will share his thoughts on future of print.

Yoshinori Koide, executive general manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, will focus on present and future of digital printing

A Appadurai, country manager, India and Sri Lanka, HP Indigo and Inkjet press solutions, will emphasis on profit through innovation with digital printing.

Jeff Protheroe, vice-president of sales, Asia Pacific, Aleyant Systems, will speak on the changing face of cloud-based solutions and impact on the Indian print community.

William Li, ICC co-chair and colour technology manager, Kodak, will speak on latest developments in ISO standards

Ray Cheydleur, ICC vice-chair and portfolio manager for printing and imaging products, X-Rite Pantone, will share his thoughts on digital colour workflow.

The post-lunch session will begin with Sabeena Vasudeva, partner, Dewan PN Chopra, sharing her views on how to prepare for GST and what will be its impact on Indian printing industry.

Vaddadi Siva Raja, vice-president, projects and engineering, The Hindustan Times, will speak on future of Indian newspapers.

Venugopal Menon, business director for business unit, sheetfed, Bobst India, will speak on significance of packaging converting and market trends.

Chris Bai, chief colour expert and product manager, BenQ, will share his thoughts on improving colour matching using iccMAX.

Maniraju Bora, sales and technical director, south west Asia, Trelleborg, will emphasis on new-age printing blankets for high efficiency printing.

Ramu Ramanathan, editor, PrintWeek India, will share few of his favourite print things.

Raymond Duval, director, Ultimate Technographics, will speak on optimising and automating photo book and photo print production.

Dr Anjan Kumar Baral, former chairman, department of printing technology, GJU&T University, will share his knowledge on packaging design.

The conference will conclude with interactive question and answer session.
