The firm, which was established in 2008, will deliver display graphics for indoor and outdoor signage in addition to cut-sheet digital colour prints, which it presently offers with the Konica Minolta (KM) C6501.

"Wide-format is one of the growing market segments in India," said Sukhvinder Singh, director of PrintExpressions. "Demand from the signage industry is on the rise. So is demand for industrial wide-format graphic applications such as POP displays, decorative and to some extent packaging printing."

And according to Singh, the HP Designjet L25500 is the most appropriate investment to start with. "The L25500 is a quality printer using latex ink, environmentally friendly and flexible. It has the capability of printing on any kind of flexible media up to a width of 60-inches."

PrintExpressions uses the KM C6501 to print around 25,000 sheets per month for clienteles such as designers Thukral and Tagra, hotels, Nestle, Reebok, Nikon and Coca-Cola among others.

"The C6501 was the best digital printing equipment which fitted in our budget, when we started business," said Singh. "The machine has served us well and our customers are happy with the quality of print."

The firm is also a one-stop shop providing finishing services. It has laminating stitching, cutting, spiral-binding and die-cutting machines to complete a product.

PrintExpressions is targeting to garner a turnover of Rs 5-crore this year and expand its bouquet of print services. "We plan to invest in a multi-colour offset printing press to fill the gap in demand for long-run jobs from our existing customers," concluded Singh.
