Top print firms from Delhi confirm participation at PWI Tech Forum for Awards 2011

PrintWeek India will host a Tech Forum in New Delhi on Trends and Opportunities in the Delhi / NCR Print Industry.

Top print frims from Delhi NCR like Thomson Press, Gopsons Papers, Delhi Press, Perfact Color Digital Prints and Mega Calibre have confirmed participation for the event on 7 June 2011. It will be held at the India Habitat Centre (IHC) with the support of Canon India, who are the main sponsors for PrintWeek India Awards 2011.  
 
"The print-packaging and digital industry in Delhi/NCR is confident about rise in revenue for 2011-12. Most of the print firms in Delhi/NCR that PrintWeek India team has interacted with are optimistic about revenue growth for their company over the next 12 months. The idea is to invite 40 print firms for an open discussion," said Priya Iyer, group ad manager of PrintWeek India. The format will be round-table and award related material will be displayed.

The discussion at the round-table will include various topics related to print in Delhi / NCR region. Some key topics will be: future investment areas and growth regions, effective sales and marketing strategies by identifying how buyer budgets are changing and direction of spend in the future, better promotion of business by aligning capabilities and following best practices on the shopfloor, government policies, prediction on how the Delhi/NCR industry will grow, consolidate and where it will stagnate, uncovering the business outlook, key challenges and opportunities identified by suppliers and buyers, identifying market specific growth opportunities in digital printing, understanding customers' changing needs and align business strategies accordingly.

The event will also promote the third edition of Print Week India Awards to be held in 2011.
 
PrintWeek India  launched the third edition of its Awards event on 25 March 2011. Enquiries have been pouring in for the 24 categories. The new deadline for sending entries is 25 June. The judging for the Awards will take place on 29 July 2011 and the Awards Night on 25 August 2011. As in the previous two editions, a select panel of jury comprising of print customers and experts will evaluate print entries in 24 categories.
