According to Atul Ketkar, director at Signwave, the Pred8tor is a game changer. ”The Pred8tor is a quality printer using UV ink, environment-friendly and flexible. It can print offset quality to give actual picture of the product at high speeds on media upto a width of 8-ft and thickness of upto 2-inch.”

Signwave, which was established in 1992, has focused its vision on giving signage and graphic solutions to telecom, FMCGs and textile, as well as traffic departments and airports. It prints around one lakh sq/ft of signage material in a month and fabricates the displays at its unit in-house.
Signwave started its journey with a Roland plotter, gradually bringing print capability in-house, which included its first Jeti to the first Pred8tor.

The new machine uses the UV ink technology giving scratch resistant prints, which would otherwise require lamination. It has the flexibility to print on clear acrylic, aluminum composite materials, wood, PVC, glass and metal.

The machine is also capable of multi-layer printings of up to 6mm thick layers. “We have recently printed the tamper-proof signages for the Subrata Roy stadium in Pune using aluminium composite material. The signages include way-finders to direction boards, external and internal,” said Ketkar.
