Ashok Hingrajiya said, “We have always been ahead of the times in terms of investment in technology and and how an investment can help us enter new verticles. With the Komori LS29, we can now cater to the packaging requirements as well.”

Apart from the Komori LS29, the production floor also houses a Komori five-colour plus coater machine installed two years ago.

The company, which produces brochures, catalogues, posters, and other commercial jobs, will look to enhance its print quality with the new press.

Plus Offset was established in 1999 by Hingrajiya and his brothers, Raju and Hitesh as a commercial print firm with a two-colour Dominant machine.

The Komori Lithrone press can convert stocks ranging from 0.04–0.8mm at a maximum speed of 16,000sph. “The short-run capability and quick turnaround performance plus the size of 530x750mm suited our requirements,” informed Hingrajiya.

Besides the Lithrone press, the company has also invested in a Kodak Trendsetter CTP system for pre-press.
