“As an OEM supplier, Husky has always taken responsibility for supporting our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their equipment. The strategic changes we have implemented to our PET tooling organisation are helping to strengthen our global infrastructure and product offerings,” said Thomas Bontempi, Husky’s general manager, PET tooling.

To provide more responsive and agile support, Husky recently established a dedicated cross-functional global team of experts solely focused on serving customers’ PET tooling needs.

According to Husky, it is bringing its patented HyPET HPP5 technology to legacy systems and tooling generations. Husky has also developed a new 96 and 128 cavity upgrade solution for HyPET systems, enabling customers to achieve a more than 30 percent increase in production capacity.

At Plastindia, Husky will highlight its Multi–Layer Technology, which can produce preforms with a wide range of barrier content, “from less than 2.5% to more than 40%, while delivering up to 50% savings on barrier material costs for some applications.”

It aims to produce more attractive packaging options over alternative materials, such as high–density polyethylene (HDPE), cartons, metal, and even glass.

Husky will exhibit at Hall 9 / Stall 13.
