Pawan Sharma, managing partner of Pixels 2 Print, said, “Using the Zund, we are exploring new avenues in the interior design, packaging, and gifting segments, along with the existing applications in the advertisement, event, and FMCG.”

Prasanna Venkatesh, managing director of Zund India, said, “Pixels 2 Print has been doing the post press finishing jobs with minimal automation. It was looking out for a solution which could not only add value but also help them diversify into other areas. Zund understood this very well and offered them a machine with facilities of routing hard substrates such as wood, MDF and Acrylic as well.”

The G3 L3200 is backed up with the Zund software. It has a working area of 70 × 125 inches and can work with a maximum speed of 55 in/s.

When asked about finalising on the Zund, Sharma said, “Before finalising Zund we also discussed with other cutters available in the market, but we found Zund to be more reliable and robust industrial cutter with minimum breakdowns.”

“With hoards of innovative products and solutions at Zund and the possibility of upgrading the machine at the site for enhanced productivity and more versatility, Pixels 2 Print found Zund to be a befitting solution to their requirement,” added Venkatesh.

“We expect the new installation to help us increase our turnover by 10 to 15% in the first year which shall gradually increase in the coming years,” concluded Sharma.

Along with the recent installation, it houses EFI Vutek GS3250 LXR UV printer, four solvent printers, Epson eco-solvent printer, and two lamination machines.

Pixels 2 Print in 2008 is in large format printing for advertisement and branding, managed by three partners Pawan Sharma, Sudarshan and Kuttappa. It has a 7000 sq/ft facility with a workforce of 35 people.
