Perfect Scan installs Highwater CTP and Pixeljet Proton printer at its plant in Indore

Ahmedabad-based Perfect Scan has installed a Highwater CTP and a Pixeljet Proton wide-format printer at its plant in Indore. Both machines have been installed by Monotech Systems.

With the CTP, the company plans to start a service bureau in Indore.

Nitin Gami, director at Perfect Scan, said: "We have invested in a CTP platesetter to cater to the local CTP plate requirement. As a service bureau, our initial target is 50 to 100 four-colour set for the first three months. After which we plan to grow."

Perfect Scan is a part of Perfect Group which started in 1988 as a trading company for graphic art printing consumables. In 1995, Perfect Scan started a processing house with an imagesetter  and scanner. In 1999, it ventured into print business. Besides Ahmedabad and Indore, Perfect also has a unit in Vadodara.

Perfect Scan has invested in one Pixeljet wide-format printer for its Indore unit.  The company is targeting the telecom industry.

Gami, said: "The telecom sector is growing in Indore and looking at the current scenario, we decided to invest in a Pixeljet."

Gami, added: "Currently we are printing four lakh sq/ft of flex per month and we are also planning to invest in EFI Vutek for our Indore unit."

The Perfect Scan group has three printing centres,  one in Ahmedabad which is the mother unit while the other two units are in Vadodara and Indore.

The Ahmedabad unit of Perfect Scan houses two EFI Vutek 3360, one Vutek PV320, one Gerber Solara, and one Epson Eco-solvent printer.

While the Vadodara unit houses one Roland, Pixeljet and one DGI printer.

The Rs 8-crore company has 60 employees and hopes to achieve 20% growth in 2010-2011.
