Peahen Print Solutions becomes VAS partner for Kodak's digital printing solutions

Delhi-based new start-up capital good's venture company Peahen Print Solutions (PPS) has entered into a non-exclusive partnership arrangement with Kodak for selling Kodak's digital printing solutions.

Vineet Vohra, one of the promoters of PPS said: "Our association with Kodak as our principals will enable us with a strong product line across our trade in the prepress, press and postpress segment of the digital printing industry. We seek to promote innovative solutions that offer a good price-performance ratio to our customers. We aim to meet our end customer’s needs cost-effectively by providing them knowledge and information in the form of quality supplies, equipments and solutions from Kodak."

Peahen will deal in the Kodak colour and black-and-white Electrophotographic Printing Solutions (EPS) systems. The EPS platform includes Kodak’s Nexpress colour presses and Kodak Digimaster monochrome digital production presses. PPS will also handle the portfolio of integrated solutions of Kodak across pre-press, digital printing, unified workflow, document imaging, and service and support.

Ramani Viswanathan, vice president-sales, digital print – EPS business, graphic communications group, Kodak India said: "We are delighted to associate with Peahen Print Solutions. The partnership is in tune with Kodak’s strategy to grow the digital printing solutions business for India. Peahen will support us with wider and more in-depth market coverage across the country."

PPS will also act as a consultant with specialist information to the existing and new print firms/companies that are willing to explore and diversify into the digital printing business.

Peahen was established on 1 April 2011 in Delhi founded by two principal promoters Vineet Vohra and Manu Juneja. Vohra has over 15 years of experience in the commercial printing business and Juneja specialises with over 10 years of experience in the business of photo printing vertical.

Kodak has installed a total of nine Kodak Nexpress presses in India. Since established, Peahen has been instrumental in commissioning of new Kodak Nexpress digital engines at Dualri Digital, Ludhiana in Punjab; Sumolas Photo & Video, Bengaluru in Karnataka, Neel Digital Color Lab, Rajkot and Perfect Digital Press Surat in Gujarat.
