Peacock Media brands National Stock Exchange on Rajdhani Express

Sandeep Chawla, director of Peacock Media, the Mumbai-based multi-locational wide-format specialist has said that the firm's installation of range of signage for National Stock Exchange (NSE) on the Chennai-bound Rajdhani Express, which was flagged off from New Delhi, has propelled more companies to follow suit.

NSE's debut in promotion of investor awareness on long-distance trains was also printed by Peacock. The work, an ongoing contract for Indian Railways for five years includes interior and exterior signs, as well as digitally produced graphics. The NSE prints were taken on the HP Latex L65500 and Scitex Turbojet printers.

Peacock provides strategic marketing and branding solutions, largely through its multi-platform lifestyle media, which provides a great niche to capture.

"Print still remains a hot medium for branding even today and the NSE work may be one of the reasons that we received such a phenomenal response from companies across the board," said Chawla. The companies include Airtel, Max Newyork Life Insurance, Omax Infrastructure, Nokia, ICICI Bank and HDFC among others.

Peacock's infrastructure includes digital printing equipment which fits into green print marketing strategy.

"At Peacock, it is not only about selling printed graphics to our clients," said Chawla. "It's also about the strategy we have adopted in increasing the effectiveness of print marketing and profitability. Our benefit, growth and pleasure come from our customers' growth through such efforts."

Peacock's partnership with Indian Railways on the NSE signage and graphic overhaul was installed by the printer's in-house team at Railways coach station in New Delhi.
