The announcement was made at a brand enhancement seminar organised by Parksons Packaging for more than 50 print buyers and corporate brands on 13 December in Mumbai.

The seminar doubled as a celebration of Parksons Packaging when KBA’s Jurgen Veil said, “Parksons now requires only one pass to print in six colours and embellish with a UV coat.”

The six-colour KBA Rapida 106 will add to the two Rapida 105 six-colour plus coater and UV presses which are up and running at its plants in Chakan and Rudrapur. The Daman unit has a KBA, which was commissioned in 2005.

Ramesh Kejriwal, chairman, Parksons Packaging said, “The new KBA will be installed in one of the three plants. This addition will enable us to target a capacity of 50,000 tonnes for the year 2013-14.”
He said, “We have recruited skilled creative people for Parksons packaging’s design and research centre. It has helped us create innovative designs and patented packaging solutions which will help accentuate and build a brand.”
