What brought you to the Pamex show in the first place? Investment / window shopping / sign a deal?
Investment in digital and digital finishing equipment.

Something you learnt about for the first time at the show?
The amount of exhibitors that have perticipated states that ‘print is dying’ is a myth.

What is the most interesting post-press operation you saw at the Pamex show?
In post-press, a lot of Indian manufacturers are providing cost effective soultions for a small printer.

Which stall did you like and why?
First Paper Idea becasue of the solutions it has put on display.

If we gave you a blank cheque, what would you buy at Pamex?
HP Indigo 5500.

Did you always want to be a printer?
Print has been in our blood since past three generations, so yes.

If you hadn’t joined the business of printing, what do you think you would have ended up doing?
Mechanical engineer.

If you could be born either a great print technocrat + expert or a very rich print CEO, which one would you choose? You can’t say ‘both’.
Rich print CEO.

CMYK or RGB?
CMYK...always!

Choose: offset or digital?
Digital, for now.

Do you read? Is there any book that you’re particularly enjoying at the moment?
Books on print technology.

A manufacturer at Pamex, whose factory you would like to visit?
HP Indigo factory in Israel. I have always wanted to be there since the time it was first launched at Drupa.

What’s your idea of a perfect print trade show?
Running mechinery on display.

The next print trade show you are looking forward to?
Drupa 2012.

What’s the best print technology you’ve seen in the last five years?
Inkjet and toner technology.

The one thing print software does which they didn’t do ten years ago?
Imposition.
