Fujifilm India

Fujifim has showcased its XR-2000, the developer waste reduction system in the show. The system concentrates developer waste, then separates it into distilled regenerated water. This also reduces the consumption of the developer. Anil Singh of Fujifilm, said: "The system provides solution for the waste developer which is one of the major concern for the printing industry. As a green initiative, the printers can contribute using the XR-2000 technology." Singh added: "The water which is separated from this system can be used for the plants in the premises. The pH of this water is almost seven and therefore it is safe for the plants. The concentrated developer, which is separated is then transported for industrial waste processing." Meanwhile, Fujifilm announced the installation of XR-2000 developer waste reduction system at Kumar Printers in Delhi, Parksons Packaging in Mumbai and the recent one at Vyoma Graphics in Pune. Besides this, Fujifilm has installed more than 800 XR systems in Japan.
