V S Offset and Ideal Printo Graphics bag export orders from Bangladesh

V S Offset Engineers in association with Ideal Printo Graphics, the manufacturers of Fast Trek Webo web offset machines, has exported a Fast Trek Webo toBashundhara Group and Daily Bhorer Dak in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Piyush Sengar, director at V S Offset Engineers, said: "We have bagged three orders with four different configurations for these two prestigious customers. The total value of the orders is around 1.2 million dollars."

The two orders for Bashundhara Group includes: two complete lines of six three-colour satellite unit with stack mounted and two half-page folders with a speed of 30,000iph.

Another order is for Daily Bhorer Dak comprising of: three three-colour satellite unit with stack and a mono unit with a half-page folder running at 30,000iph; and a three-colour with mounted stack, one mono unit, and a half-page folder. All these presses are equipped with pneumatic control system and brushmist dampening system.

"This is a landmark export order from Bangladesh. Our focus on export market is winning installation orders for our company. We hope that these achievements will land us with some more order soon from other countries as well," added Sengar.

In September 2009 PrintWeek India reported the company's export order to the Middle East to Al Sabah newspaper in Kuwait.

Sengar said: "Over the past 10 years we have gained momentum in the South Asian market and enjoy a good repute in the neighbouring markets like Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka with our exports of spare parts and web offset machines.

More orders are expected from Bangadesh. The company soon expects to capture some market in countries like Mauritius, China and Gulf, where other Indian-made web offset machines are already installed.
