NBG has tied up with Dingshung, a Taiwan-based company who are manufacturers of litho laminators. To-date, more than ten machines have been installed in India.

The main feature of Midas Speedy is that the machine can convert a wide range of paper stocks with different thickness. It has a patented suction belt bottom paper feeding mechanism which helps smooth delivery of the corrugated board. Also, there is an adjustable gluing system which applies glue evenly on the corrugated board and hence saves glue consumption.

Andy Chang of Dingshung Machinery said, "We constantly try to innovate and improve our technologies and that is reflected in our improvised and advanced machineries. Also, India is a growing market and we see a lot of growth."

NBG Printographic Machinery is a Delhi-based company and has its core competence in web offset. This year they have branched out into the converting machine business because as Nitin Garg, director, NBG Printographic stated, "We are promoting NBG as an engineering company and the market of web offset has matured in India, whereas packaging is at its peak."

Garg further added that the Indian industry has warmed to the converting segment and that is where the focus is.
