Narsingh Dass Group brings Innovia Films to India

Innovia Films is a leading global manufacturer of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) and cellulose-based films for packaging, labels, tobacco overwrap and securities markets.

Aditya Gupta, director, Narsingh Dass Group who is leading the green products division of the group said, “We are excited on being appointed as the agents, especially because this adds up to our initiative to be a green supplier to printing and packaging industry. In addition, brands all over the world have been making a suo moto move towards green packaging. This opens up the market for the sustainable and eco-friendly packaging materials.”

“Innovia’s products NatureFlex and Cellophane are manufactured from wood-pulp sourced from referenced suppliers only, who operate sustainable forestry management principles, and already have an established name in the Indian packaging industry,” Gupta explained.

Prior to this agreement, Innovia has been serving the Asia market through its offices in China, Malaysia and Japan. “We have been in talks with Innovia from sometime. While the deal matured couple of months back, we decided to make an official announcement during PackTech India,” he concluded.
