“We must have a target. Once you map your current position, you can figure out what you need to change in your business and continue to grow,” said Khanna.

He shared success stories of Indian print firms such as TechNova, Parksons Graphics, Vakils Premedia, Repro Offset, Comart Lithographers, Unique Photo Offset Services, and BMPA’s StB
initiative. “We must convert these success stories into case-studies and learn from them how change was a catalyst in their growth,” said Khanna.

According to Khanna, Indian print industry must emphasise on data and research, undertake bankable projects, implement best practices, and enable techno economic analysis and forecasts of 3-5 years in advance.

Khanna highlighted the certain initiatives which are required in Indian printing industry that could enable change and thus growth. “I think employee welfare, inclusion of women owners, industry
cooperation for training, standardisation and knowledge sharing programs are some factors which we must focus on,” added Khanna.

At the end of Khanna’s session Vasant Goel of Gopsons Press shared his experiences of how thinking big is a way to enable change and thrive.
