Speaking to PrintWeek India, Sam Patel, managing director, Arrow Digital, said, “It’s a LED UV press with ten-colour configuration – eight colours and two whites. The white is best in the industry, it gives you the power to create more applications and cool-cure LED enables you to use low-energy substrates.”

“Prince Digi Graphics has always been a creative firm. Besides a lot of commercial graphics, they also produce a lot of niche applications.”

Arrow Digital’s stand showcased an array of wide-format applications from thermoforming to 3D objects to use of different coatings and green materials, which, according to Patel, is the key as more and more brands and government agencies are discouraging the use of plastics.

“So, what we are targeting is substrates like corrugated paper, which will make the displays disposable, renewable and furthermore cheaper and locally available material,” added Patel.

“Brands are realising that it is better to print one good quality application than 20 inferior quality items. I see within two years all in-shops and retail applications will shift from flex to fabric. It looks cleaner, cheaper and is greener. It’s all about materials and applications,” said Patel.

Besides this, Arrow Digital has been focusing on digital finishing with MCT and Fotoba machines.
