According to the MOS, both the machines have not only increased the capacity but also have quickened the turnaround times.

Mehul Desai, chairman at MOS, said, “We were over utilising the capacity. All our digital presses were full in production and hence we felt the need of a digital press which could take on the additional capacity.”

Oce Varioprint 6320 monochrome digital press is equipped with the duplex technology.

Desai said, “This duplex printer series takes monochrome speed to new heights. With ultra-fast speed and benchmark reliability, print professionals can take on more jobs and turn them around faster.”

MOS with the installation of Oce Varioprint 6320 has been able to increase its volumes by 37%.

To cater to the increase in the print volume, MOS has also invested in envelope making machine from Redlands in its post-press department to avoid the bottlenecks.

Desai said, “We are not focussing on adding new clients but building up the volumes from our existing client. This helps us in serving them more effectively from managing the client’s data right up to the mailing.”

“Increase in the print volumes means increase in the requirement of the envelopes in which the printed documents will be mailed. For this we have invested in Champion, the envelope making machine from Redlands Machinery. This machine is a work horse and needs constant feeding. The increase in the print volume which resulted in slow down in the post-press department has now been reduced due to this machine,” concluded Desai.
