According to Pawan Kumar Singh, managing director, Mona Equipments, the responses and leads received at the show was serious.

Established in 1997, Mona manufacturers doctor blades, core chucks, core shafts, chamber doctor blades, anilox chrome roller, duplex splitting machine and other parts for most of the existing narrow web flexo printing presses’ owners.

On manufacturing, Singh, who joined the family-owned business in 2009, said for machine manufacturing, one needs more investment and infrastructure. On the other hand, manufacturing of ancillary products provides more penetration with less investment and efforts. The market is too competitive, especially when it comes to price and sale of a machine.

“Our growth is linked with label printers and narrow-web flexo printing presses manufacturers. As number of printing presses will increase and existing printing presses will require new parts, our business will grow,” he added.

The company has four production units in Noida and presence in multiple overseas countries, reporting around 20% annual growth year-on-year.
