Miraj Multicolour installs Rajasthan's first Alpha RF automatic exercise book production machine

Rajasthan-based Miraj Multicolour has commissioned its first fully automatic exercise book production machine Alpha RF from ECH WILL at their stationery manufacturing plant in Udaipur.

The new installation, according to the company, will give it "competitive advantage".

Miraj Multicolour, established in 2001, belongs to the Miraj Group. The company claims a strong presence in manufacturing, exporting and supplying of quality school, office and other paper bound stationery products.

Jitender Agarwal, CEO, Miraj Multicolour, said: "The machine being a first of its kind in Rajasthan and neighbouring north Indian states including Haryana, Punjab and Jammu, we are envisioning huge opportunities."

The firm is managed by KG Sharma and Kailash Agarwal, director of the firm, while ML Paliwal is the chairman of Miraj Group.

Paliwal said that the company is proud to be the first to install an automatic machine for exercise book production in region. "We will be able to profit from this competitive advantage."

The newly installed Alpha RF converts around 12 tonne paper per day. The firm has a four-colour and two-colour Heidelberg and mono HMT offset printing press along with Alpha RF.

Miraj Multicolour manufacturers products like composition books, long books, note books, drawing books, jumbo books, graph books, practical books, geometry books, college books, note pad, conference  pad, cash memo, pocket memo, duplicate books, voucher books, spiral pad, punch paper, dusta paper, continuous computer stationery and others.

The Rs 22-crore company operates from a 5-lakh sq/ft manufacturing plant and has a staff of more than 150 persons.
