Maze Cards announce KBA Genius 52UV installs

PrintWeek India, April 6 - Mumbai-based Maze Cards has announced installation of two new KBA Genius 52 UV, one in south India and another in north India. With these installations, Maze Cards has taken its total number of Genius 52 UV installation base to seven including one in Bangladesh.

Maze Cards, the division of Doshi Group of companies, manages sales and service for German-based KBA Metronic in the Indian sub-continent.

Nisaurg Doshi, managing director at Doshi Group, said: "The focus of our sales strategy was to target major smart card manufacturers, and we have had a good success. There's a massive base of commercial printers, for whom this waterless UV technology-based press can be ideal, and we are now targeting these printers."

Maze Cards is also expanding its operation in the Indian sub-continent.

V N  Subramanian, vice president at Maze, said: "Sri Lanka is our next area of interest and we also wish to have success in that territory too."

The Genius 52 UV is a capable of producing closest replica of the photographic printers. It can handle vast variety of plastic substrates ranging from 100 to 800 microns.
