Manugraph unveils the new Smartline press

Manugraph invited the trade press to its manufacturing plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra to showcase the newly developed Smartline 4x1 double circumference web press.

This is for the first time an Indian manufacturer has developed a double circumference web press.
S M Mordekar, general manager operations at Manugraph, said: "With the introduction of the web press, the newspaper industry will benefit. There will be saving of time in production as the editorial department will get time to prepare the content."

Mordekar said: "We are proud and happy about the development. The machine has the capacity to print at the speed of 70,000 impressions per hour."

According to the company, with the introduction of Smartline 4x1 machine, they we will sustain growth.

Already there is a terrific response for this press from India's biggest manufacturer.Manugraph announced that the first Smartline 4x1 has been sold to Malayala Manorama, which will be installed soon.
