Manugraph makes a foray into packaging

Looking beyond its position as one of the global leaders in web offset technology, Manugraph is digging deeper into the print market, entering into a new area of a growing print sector and readying to face challenges.

Manugraph has announced that it has entered into a distribution tie-up with Masterwork Machinery, a leading manufacturer in China for sales and service of Masterwork’s packaging machinery like automatic die-cutting machines; automatic platen foil stamping machines with hologram systems; and automatic folding and gluing machines.

"I see this as an excellent business opportunity, as well as a vehicle to continue our march as a global leader in printing technology," said Pradeep Shah, managing director at Manugraph.

He added: "We are fortifying our position in the market place by entering into distributorship of packaging machinery, an emerging sector in the Indian print market."

Manugraph is aiming at providing cost effective, productive and reliable solutions in the packaging sector on the strengths of the Masterwork’s stronghold in export markets, which includes: US, Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Australia, Peru, Egypt, and Japan and South Korea.
 
Masterwork is in the packaging machinery business since the last ten years and has invested substantially in R&D for new product development and international market research. It has over 1,350 machines installed worldwide, of which 280 have been in 2010.

Manugraph’s strength and success have always been its excellent after-sales service.

"Manugraph is well positioned to focus on its manufacturing and distribution capabilities on bringing new technologies to the Indian print market, with top class after-sales service," said Shah.

"We are confident that Masterwork’s packaging machinery will prove to be a successful example for our business strategy in action."
